Join us on the last video clip for Chapter 1 as Christy, Deb and I talk about Memes we carry with us from our childhood.
When we were children, we had a desire to make sense of the world. So as we watched things happening around us, we created stories about what we saw or heard, and we accepted many cultural beliefs whether they made logical sense or not.
Later, in adulthood, many of us still find ourselves carrying around an old worn-out “operating system” made up of unconscious memes that we were infected with at early ages, or memes that we created and continue to pass along to others.
Becoming conscious of those memes allows us to chose if we want to continue to carry them around, or to choose if we’d like to let go of them, and create or adopt memes that better support who we are and the reality we wish to create.
Catch the 3rd video conversation here: Virus of the Mind – Chapter 1: Memes 3
Join in on the discussion! We’d love to hear what this video inspires in you! What memes are you personally carrying around that you are becoming aware of?
